  1. This is incredible!! I’m heading to Sichuan soon–this is in Sichuan, right? Is it easy to get to?

    Awesome awesome photos!

    • Yup, it’s pretty easy. We took a flight from Shanghai to Chengdu, Sichuan and then another from Chengdu to Huang Long Airport.

The flight from Chengdu to Huang Long Airport is not to be missed. Try to get a window seat if you can. The view is AMAZING!

      • Ahhhh. I can’t fly!! (A stipulation of my website/trip) (I need to get from Mumbai to Manila by road/boat only). Can you take a bus/how horrendously long does it take? It looks so cool!!

      • Oh gosh!

Just had quick look online. 10 hours on a bus from Chengdu to Jiu Zhai Gou. Doesn’t look too bad.

If you’re on a budget. Don’t forget to take account for entry fees + gondola fees + transport around the area.

As, we found Jiu Zhai Gou and Huang Long to be pretty expensive. After all, it’s a tourist town.

  2. Awesome photos Yean- the scenery leaves NZ for dead!

    • 🙂 We’ll have to do NZ soon tho!

Seems like every single place we’ve been so far has been compared to NZ by sam.

We’re gonna try to take some time off to tour New Zealand next year! 🙂

Wow, you’ve got some lovely photos here of the Huang Long terraces. I run a weekly travel challenge, would love you to join in if you’re interested. This week’s theme is oceans, in honour of World Oceans Day. http://wheresmybackpack.com/2012/06/08/oceans/ xxx Ailsa
